Stoneham - La Tempête Express

Описание: La Tempête Express is a four-person detachable bubble chairlift located at Stoneham Mountain Resort. The chairlift runs the base area up to the summit of the center of the resort's three peaks. The lift serves the center of the resort which features mostly intermediate terrain up top and advanced terrain on the bottom, as well as multiple beginner routes. From the top of the lift, skiers and riders may also access Stoneham's two other peaks, including the advanced 40s area. The chairlift was manufactured by Doppelmayr and installed at the resort in 1988, replacing a 1984 fixed-grip Samson quad chairlift.

Stoneham Mountain Resort is a ski area located in Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury, Québec, Canada. The resort is located in the capitol region, located only a 25-minute drive north of Québec City, a 2-hour drive south of Saguenay, a 3-hour drive northeast of Montreal, and a 4.5-hour drive northeast of Ottawa, Ontario, with a convenient location just a short distance from Québec Autoroute 73. The resort features three peaks, with the two closest to the main base facilities featuring a variety of terrain for all ability levels, while the 40s area caters more towards advanced and expert skiers. The ski area also offers a large night skiing footprint and is popular with locals from the Québec City region. The resort is owned by Resorts of the Canadian Rockies, which also owns nearby Mont-Sainte-Anne, as well as multiple resorts across the western provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. Stoneham is a partner on the Epic Pass, with full pass holders only receiving 7 days across all of the company's resorts.
