After a 3-day stopover in Japan, we set off for Nova Scotia, Canada (Marie's home province. We took the scenic route, as Mom likes to say. Flying from Tokyo to San Francisco, then to Philadelphia, before arriving at our final destination of Halifax. This was Eugene's first time in Nova Scotia and first time meeting Marie's family, so this is the beginning of a very meaningful trip for everyone.
