This is the first in a series of BDA Quick Trips videos, all less than 5 minutes long. These quick trips are designed to be affordable, take only a couple of hours, and give you ideas of activities close to campsites to do with children (geared more towards little kids vs. older children).

On this Quick Trip, we went to Morro Bay Beach State Park and the Morro Bay area. You can see the Morro Rock, known as the Pacific's Rock of Gibraltar. Morro Bay Beach Strand has ample parking for van life and a great location to find Sand Dollars. The actual bay area is great for kayaking, paddleboarding, or looking for sea life. We saw otters and seals just from the dock
