I wanted to express my personal struggles with my faith in this song. I wanted it to be a progression of doubt and questions of sanity and salvation and eventually come to the conclusion that I must trust in God and his plan.

I'm sure many people have had the same worries as me, but in the end we are all forgiven and we must remind ourselves that we don't know all the answers and no matter how hard it gets or how much we think we are too far gone, that we can always reach out to him and he will raise us up out of our pain and struggles.

To whoever is reading this, I hope you win those battles you've secretly been facing, and know you're not alone. Trust in the Lord, your God, Jesus Christ who conquered death on the cross, and know he had you in mind when he did it. Know that there are many out there facing the same struggles as you. You aren't crazy to have doubts, this world will constantly fight to bring you to your knees, and when it does, do so in prayer and not in defeat. Remember that you are saved in Him, and no matter how many times you fall you can always rise again and turn away from your sins. Place your trust in the Lord, our God, and he will set you free. Our Father in Heaven, may all those who follow you, and seek to glorify you be lifted up in Jesus Christ's holy name, AMEN.
