Описание: Another Pros and Cons video? Yep! This is Kim and Fran’s version of the pros and cons of living in Sacramento.

Sacramento is the Farm to Fork capital. Here you’ll fine wonderful restaurants with farm fresh organic food.


There are many employment opportunities here including state jobs, medical, tech companies and many others.



The weather here is lovely in the spring and early summer. The summers here are HOT, but there are many lakes, and rivers to cool off in such as the American River, Sacramento River and Folsom Lake.



What we love about the fall in Sacramento is the fall colors and cooler days. You won’t see snow here.



Allergies can be a challenge for people because of all the trees.



Transit system. It’s no Bay Area or So Cal traffic here! There is the blue line light rail system that runs throughout Sacramento areas.



Sacramento is the capital of California and home of the gold rush. There is a ton of history here, including Old Town Sacramento, and Sutter Creek.



Is Sacramento a good place to live? Yes! While there are higher rates of crime in certain Sacramento neighborhoods, such as central Oak Park and Del Paso Heights, the vast majority of Sacramento is very safe. Some areas including North Oak Park, that have been in decline, are making many improvements. Keep an eye out for these cool, up and coming areas.



Home prices in Los Angeles and the Bay area average a million dollars, while Sacramento house prices average 500K. We are in a crazy real estate market right now as is pretty much everywhere in this lovely state. The shortage of homes for sale is the reason.
