The Temple of Kom Ombo is relatively small but definitely the best situated of all discovered to this day ancient Egyptian temples. Its ruins rise almost on the very bank of the Nile.
The Temple of Kom Ombo was dedicated to the falcon god Horus the Elder and crocodile god Sobek. The last one, the crocodile-headed god Sobek, is probably the easiest to remember from the whole pantheon of ancient Egyptian gods🙂🙂
