Описание: This past week the whole country has been talking about 20-year-old Edward Kang who attacked a fellow online gamer with a hammer. While some of the details are hilarious, most of them are just the opposite. This case is extremely traumatizing for the victim, and I think it brings up an important conversation about the toxicity that goes on in online game chats.

As someone who has almost exclusively played first-person shooters and fighting games for 20+ years, I've had people threaten me, message me saying they can easily find my house, challenge me to an actual fight, you name it. Even worse, it's getting easier and easier for people to hack into your gaming accounts and locate your house. A little trash talk (mostly) never hurt anybody, but now more than ever it's important to notice when you're trash talking the wrong person.
