Young adulthood is often the very season in which God shapes and uses people powerfully. One striking biblical example is the prophet Elisha. God called him when he was a young adult, and 2 Kings 3:11 describes him simply as the one who "poured water on the hands of Elijah".

Yet as Elisha faithfully served Elijah, the Holy Spirit was shaping him—forming deep humility, sharpening his spiritual sensitivity, transforming him into a person marked by genuine love, filling him with heavenly wisdom, and building within him a resilient inner strength.
