Описание: "Cossatot (Rugged Beauty)" was commissioned by the Arkansas Small Band Association in 2020, but was not premiered until April or 2022 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The association asked that the piece have an Arkansas theme so Mr. Colquitt wrote about one of his favorite spots in an area of southwest Arkansas in the Ouachita mountains. The Cossatot River is beautiful but also rugged with some of the highest rated rapids in the country.
