The RECERCADA QUARTA of Diego Ortiz' (1510/25 – 1570) four Ricercari, from his treatise and teaching book "Trattado de Glossas" (Rome 1553).
Played on the baroque cello by Fabian Boreck.
Fabian Boreck studied cello at the "Academy of Music 'Hanns Eisler' Berlin" and the baroque cello Master at the "University of the Arts Berlin".
He is the associate Principal Cellist of the Oldenburg State Orchestra, Germany, as well as furthermore a professional baroque cellist.
On both instruments he pursues solo and chamber music activities, as well as Hi-Res-quality remote recording tasks.
