The NHL has confirmed the Arizona Coyotes have been sold and the team is moving to Salt Lake City, Utah. Current owner Alex Meruelo is selling the team to Ryan Smith, the owner of the NBA's Utah Jazz, and the team will make the move ahead of the 2024-2025 season. Rumors of the Coyotes' move to Salt Lake City became closer to reality last week when players were told the team was moving.
