RTÉ News reports on the death of Scottish football legend Gordon McQueen, best known for his successful spells with both Leeds United and Manchester United, winning the FA Cup with the latter in 1983. In January 2021, McQueen was diagnosed with vascular dementia, believed to have been brought on by persistent heading of footballs, and passed away from the condition just 11 days short of his 71st birthday.
