-Article 330: Reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) in the Lok Sabha (House of the People).
-Article 331: Representation of the Anglo-Indian community in the Lok Sabha (now repealed by 104th Amendment Act, 2019).
-Article 332: Reservation of seats for SCs and STs in State Legislative Assemblies.
-Article 333: Governor may nominate one member of the Anglo-Indian community to the State Legislative Assembly (also repealed in 2019).
-Article 334: Time limit for reservation of seats for SCs, STs, and Anglo-Indians – originally 10 years, extended multiple times, Anglo-Indian reservation now ended.
-Article 335: Claims of SCs and STs to services/posts must be considered while maintaining administration efficiency.
-Article 336: Special provision for Anglo-Indians in services for 2 years from the commencement of the Constitution.
-Article 337: Educational grants for Anglo-Indian community continued for 10 years (now expired).
-Special Provisions for Backward Classes
Article 338: National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) – monitors safeguards, investigates complaints, advises on planning and development.
-Article 338A: National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) – similar duties for STs.
-Article 338B: National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) – constitutional status granted via the 102nd Amendment Act, 2018.
-Article 339: Control over the administration of ST areas and welfare schemes for STs.
-Article 340: President may appoint a commission to investigate conditions of backward classes and recommend measures.
-Article 341: President can notify which castes are to be considered Scheduled Castes.
-Article 342: President can notify which tribes or tribal communities are to be considered Scheduled Tribes.
-Article 342A: Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBCs) – empowers the President (and states) to notify backward classes, added via the 102nd Amendment.
