Joe Pater is focused on energy efficiency in the business world. The adoption of efficiency is the first step toward a clean energy economy and his startup Rebate Bus is developing a system that will simplify utility rebates.
He has worked for a utility implementer, managing program funds and a manufacturer, using rebates to drive customers toward efficiency. He has absorbed many different viewpoints in these experiences and believes that due to a lack of transparency, the full market potential of utility programs has not yet been realized. Rebate Bus is aiming to bridge that gap by giving utilities the ability to optimize their program investments, engage with e-commerce vendors and clearly lay out the economic picture for any decision maker involved in an upgrade.
Joe has been working in the technology space since 2003 and has an MBA from the University of Maine. He is a strategic thinker driven by discovering a more efficient way to bring energy efficiency to the marketplace.
