Tap your feet to a snappy beat when the Dearborn Big Band, specializing in music from the swing era, starts to play!
Under the direction of Donald McAlpine, the Dearborn Big Band performs classic selections, popularized by legendary swing artists such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller and featuring songs by Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra and the Great American Songbook.
The DBB is a big band with 5 saxophones, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets along with piano, bass, guitar and drums. The DBB also features both male and female vocalists throughout our performances.
