As the Covid crisis continues to wreak havoc in India, several countries have offered to help the surge in cases. US President Joe Biden has committed to helping India and the US has agreed to send raw materials for making vaccines. Biden’s chief medical adviser also said the U.S. will consider offering India unused doses of AstraZeneca vaccine. Meanwhile, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Sunday that vital medical equipment, including hundreds of oxygen concentrators and ventilators, is now on its way from the UK to India.
