Ingredients:
Boiled eggs – 4
Boiled potatoes – 2 medium
Cornflour – 3 tbsp
Bread crumbs – ½ cup
Green chilli – 1 (finely chopped)
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Chaat masala – ½ tsp
Salt – as needed
Coriander leaves – finely chopped
Oil – for deep frying
Ice-cream sticks / toothpicks
Making Process
Prepare mixture
Mash boiled potatoes well.
Add cornflour,green chilli, chilli powder, pepper, garam masala, chaat masala, salt and coriander.
Mix to a soft dough.
Prepare eggs
Cut boiled eggs into halves.
Shape lollipop
Take some potato mixture, place an egg half in the center.
Cover fully and shape like a lollipop.
Insert stick or toothpick.
Coating
Roll each lollipop in bread crumbs for extra crispiness.
Frying
Heat oil on medium flame.
Deep fry till golden brown & crispy.
Serve
Remove and drain excess oil.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup, mint chutney or mayo.
Tips
For extra crunch, dip in cornflour slurry before bread crumbs.
Can shallow fry or air fry at 180°C for 12–15 mins.
