Heat sensitivity, or worsening symptoms brought out when over-heated, is very common amongst PwMS. Here Dr. B explains the biological underpinnings of MS related heat sensitivity. He then discusses how knowing this helps us combat heat induced fatigue, either by cooling down the body actively or using a medication that helps correct the underlying problem (Ampyra, or 4-AP).
