In August 2016 our Solar Installation Team mounted 684 Solar PV Panels on the roof of a high energy consumption property. The energy produced by the system is used to recycle Catalytic Converters and other vehicle parts.
Brighton Energy Co-op own the Solar PV System, money raised from selling the electricity flows back into the coop; it’s then distributed in the form of our community fund, interest to members and paying back capital. The host site, Refine Metals, benefits from the cheap electricity that our panels provide.

Solaredge Inverters and Optimisers were used in the installation to increase monitoring clarity, optimises the output of individual panels and for safety.

The Van der Valk Mounting equipment was used as it does not penetrate the roof, it is a ballasted system.
