Intimate Landscape photography session from Fisherplace Gill in the Lake District. A place I have never visited but looked appealing due to several small waterfalls. It was intended to be part of a days hiking but due to technical errors and no clouds in the sky, this was cut short. I spent a good few hours working this place, taking images from my 50mm, 16-35mm and telephoto lens. I photographed up close and intimate images and also wider compositions. I used both elements of the Ice and water to create interesting images and explained why it is so important to get the composition right. I offer tips and techniques to get the right images and also tell of the importance to work an area by taking time and not going in with your first ideas.
