Ultimate Skiathos Airport Planespotting in 4K. Very Low landings and Jetblast departures July 2022

Описание: This video features the world famous Skiathos airport. Which includes a high risk visual approach and landing over water and across a busy road at the threshold of the runway with aircraft coming just metres from your head on arrival to runway 01. The entire approach and runway is visible from this well know spot.

Another location is featured in this video. Up a hill towards the opposite end of the runway. This brings a whole new perspective to Skiathos airport showing the arrival over the beach with a view over the apron aswell.

This airport is commonly referred to as the European St Maarten. But having been to both this year I would suggest that no airport is like Skiathos in terms of how close you can get to the runway action. So in my eyes this airport is the ultimate location for low landings and Jetblast departures!

Filmed freehand using a 4K Sony AX53 video camera.

Videos were shot between July 11th and 14th. Some days are busier than others and I tried to pick the better clips to keep it all in one video. It was around 30°C most days which is why you will see some possible heat haze.
