Marching Illini Halftime Show: "Dad's Day" + "Metallic" 11-1-2025 Rutgers vs Illinois
We went to Geis Memorial Stadium on Saturday, November 1, 2025, to watch the Fighting Illini Football team take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. We got so see the Illini win that day, 35-13, and we also got to see the Marching Illini perform a great halftime show! The theme for the show was "Metallic", and they performed several of their greatest hits. It was also "Dad's Day", and about 200 dads of band and cheerleader members got to take the field and dnace to the music! It was a lot of fun, and made for a great day all around. Yay Dads!!!
