Today ConnorEatsPants plays the new Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes released recently for the Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are "faithful" remakes of the original games released on Nintendo DS in 2007. The remakes are made in Unity by first time developers from Portland, Oregon. After a rich and engaging retreat to Montana in November of 2011, the developers at Pokemon realized they could successfully recreate the essence of childhood by painstakingly recreating frame by frame the $40 DS experience for $60 on Nintendo Switch. This was Miyamoto's wish.
