Welcome or welcome back to my channel, today we visit the city of Benevento, a beautiful town located in the center of the Campania region in southern Italy. The city preserves numerous testimonies of past eras including a beautiful Arch of Trajan, an honorific arch in a good state of conservation declared a UNESCO heritage site. Roman-era bridges, an amphitheater and other sites of historical interest.
Churches and monuments are evidence of the period lived as the capital of a duchy during the Lombard Kingdom such as the church of Santa Sofia which together with the cloister are a Uniesco site.
Enjoy this beautiful walk that starts from the small green oasis located in the center of the city up to the main street.
