#1 Plainfield played host to #7 Linden on Tuesday night in an epic Union County matchup.
*SPOILER*
Linden built a lead as big as 15 at one point. Plainfield was able to work their way back into it and trail by as little as 1 late in the 4th, but Linden's clutch defensive efforts were enough to clinch the win for the Tigers, 58-55. Asante Jones led all scorers for Linden with 18 points. Micah Gordon had 31 for Plainfield, as they take their first in-state loss of the season.
