Get ready for some deliciousness! 😍
Today, I’m sharing my special Mutton Dum Biryani recipe that’s full of flavor, aroma, and love. Perfectly soft mutton, fragrant basmati rice, and a mix of spices make this biryani a must-try at home!
Ingredients:
Mutton – ½ kg
Basmati Rice – 4 cups (soaked 30 mins)
Yogurt – 1 cup
Fresh ginger-garlic paste – 3–4 tbsp
Onions – 5 medium (fried till crispy / birista)
Green chillies – 5–7
Fresh mint & coriander leaves – a handful
Red chilli powder – 2–3 tsp
Turmeric – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 3–4 tsp
Lemon juice – ½ lemon
Biryani masala – 2–3 tbsp
Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
Bay leaves – 1–2
Ghee – ½ tsp
Cinnamon stick – 1
Kewra water – few drops
Method Highlights:
Marinate mutton overnight or at least 30 mins with all masalas.
Soak rice for 30 minutes.
Layer cooked mutton and rice, add fried onions, herbs, and ghee.
Dum cook on low flame until perfect.
Serve hot with raita or salad.
