From director Timur Bekmambetov ('Ben-Hur,' 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter'), ‘Mercy’ tells the story of a near future where a detective (Chris Pratt) stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once championed, before it determines his fate.
Pratt, Ferguson, Kali Reis, Annabelle Wallis, Chris Sullivan, and Kylie Rogers star. The VFX supervisor is Axel Bonami, with Bryony Duncan serving as VFX producer. VFX are being handled by DNEG.
In theaters January 23, from Amazon MGM Studios and Atlas Entertainment / Bazelevs.
