Knitting tip for marking needle Size into Gauge Swatch 2
It’s important to mark your needle size into your gauge swatch for later reference. You cannot believe how fast we tend to forget.
Another way to remember the needle size of our swatch is to make eyelets by yarn overs. It’s easier if you use US sizes as they come only in full numbers. So you just need to make -say 6 eyelets for size US 6. However, if you use mm sizes, you can add purl stitches next to the eyelets to indicate any decimal size. Just be sure to make your eyelets when you are about to cast off your swatch, as the eyelets widen and can change your gauge.
