This small portable TV was discovered in a local charity shop. The price was £20 which is about right as they are available on eBay from around £25. This one however is in an almost new condition with no case marks and complete with instruction manual and power supply.
The mystery is however the date of manufacture. I have been unable to discover when Kingavon made this device or how it was distributed. I suspect is was made specifically for use in caravans and other similar locations. I think it is was manufactured in the late 70's or early 80's. If anyone has any more information about the company or this TV55, please let me know.
