ZeroRanger - White Vanilla / Light Mode - Z Rank (1cc, 1,28 Million)

Took a lot less time than I'd thought.

This mode is remarkably consistent. Once you get everything down there are only three real major roadblocks (just two for Z rank).
OR-Type.
Meeting the time requirement for Z on this midboss is just really hard without the sideshot. For score you also want to do a suicidal strat where you stay at the top all the time, this speedkill is easily one of the hardest things you do in this mode.
Crystal Skull boss.
This boss at max rank is absurd, the orbs get crazy fast. You can easily get screwed by bad RNG and the last phase is super random too.
TLB.
The TLB is worth a loooot of score. If you speedkill to the final phase and then keep milking the minions until right before timeout you gain an absurd amount. The boss itself is also worth 50k at a 12,8 multiplier.
But only if you don't die much because you drop your multiplier when you do. Which is quite hard to do because the black orbs get really fast and the minions can behave oddly.

Also called Light Mode after beating Normal mode once, White Vanilla is a new game mode that ZeroRanger got updated with about a week ago.

White Vanilla is a 1-loop mode with remixed stages and a different scoring system. It's technically supposed to be an easier mode than Normal mode, but it has a much higher rank threshold for scoring, so it can get much harder. There is also a unique TLB.

The scoring system is now based on speedkilling instead of chaining, which is a nice change of pace from the Normal mode. Once you clear the screen of enemies the scrolling speeds up until the next set of enemies. This is key for getting time bonuses.
After every section you get graded on hits, time and destruction and the score multiplier increases based on the grades. Max grade is Z, which gives +1.00 multiplier.

You get an overall Z grade if you get Z for literally everything.

Maze section is special. The scrolling speeds up every time you kill an enemy. So pick the route with the most enemies and milk the first enemy spawners.

TLB fight was a complete trainwreck but whatever I guess.
