Lost Midwest ski area Nebraski.
Located just west of Omaha less than a mile south of Highway 80. The ski area opened in 1980 as Trail Ridge. The name would eventually changed to Nebraski in 1990. Finally closing after the 1996 season and never reopening.
Around 200ish vertical drop and serviced by a handle tow, 2 ropes, a T-bar and a double chairlift. With the majority of the ski area being Southern exposed, snow coverage and conditions were a consistent issue. Definitely an interesting layout being able to ski both sides of the valley.
I definitely remember the bull wheel from the top of the chair lift was visible from the highway...
