Junior Dance Course - Tring Park School for the Performing Arts

We are one of the nine specialist Music and Dance Schools in the UK, giving pupils on this course a fantastic music education. Pupils receive rigorous training in the performing arts, that is combined with an extensive academic programme of study.

We offer a high-quality education for 7 to 19-year-olds through a specialist curriculum which sets us apart from other schools and provides pupils with a well-rounded education, enabling them to achieve high academic excellence and versatility as a performer. Pupils are able to specialise in Dance, Musical Theatre, Acting and Commercial Music courses.

Classical ballet is the primary focus of the Junior Dance Course. The course is designed to produce young dancers who show a passion for the art form and develop a strong technique in both classical ballet and modern dance aligned with the development of artistry and the performance skills necessary for today’s dancers. Dancers will enjoy a diverse timetable and our dance faculty will give you the skills to become creative, artistic and well-rounded versatile performers.

Pupils also study modern, tap and have additional classes in either pointe work or boys work. Contemporary dance is introduced in the Year Nine.
