Carlos Torrenegra grew up Evangelical in Colombia and attended a Jewish school for his entire education. At home, the Bible pointed to Jesus. At school, it didn't. For years those two readings coexisted in his mind. Then he became an engineer and decided to settle the question for himself.

For nearly a decade he studied the Bible cover to cover, cross-referencing every New Testament quotation of the Old Testament against the original Hebrew. What he found was clear: the Christian reading doesn't survive the comparison. The prophecies are misquoted, decontextualized, and misapplied. Christianity's case depends on the Old Testament — and the Old Testament doesn't cooperate.

But Judaism had already given Carlos the framework to understand why. He didn't become an atheist. He found the Noahide path — the universal covenant for righteous non-Jews — and a relationship with scripture that was honest for the first time in his life.
