Foam Board Adhesive Mixture

Описание: For a year, we mixed PL-300 Foam Board Adhesive with Mastic sold at Lowes. It was about $4.50 per tube. It's disappeared and showed back up IN DOLLAR TREE. That's right !!! Dollar tree. Every time we go, we get all they have except three. (Leave some for somebody who might have come just for that and they're all gone? Not nice.

Man, if the block is flat (no mortar joints have mortar hanging out) put a few dots of each. On a full 4X8 board, use five "globs" the size of a golf ball. Shove it on, and you can't get it off in 48 hours. We have to add the Plastic-Grip fasteners because we're pros, but at my own home, I'd skip it. Don't use anything else. LEXEL will stick like mad and then fall off in six months.

We allow the adhesive 48 hours to cure and hold the insulation to the block, and then add the mechanical fastener. I have countless videos and photos of encapsulations with the foam board and/or the wall poly laying on the ground.

This piece of foam board was glued on Saturday, October 28th and the foam board was able to lift the block on Monday, October 30th.
