Ejaculation, before you’re ready for it, happens to 20-30% of men worldwide; but with men who have chronic pelvic pain syndrome or have been diagnosed with “chronic prostatitis,” this rapid ejaculation happens in 26-77% of men.
Rapid ejaculation is only a problem if it’s distressing for you, your partner, or your relationships. If you’re impacted by it, in this video, I cover:
What premature ejaculation actually is
How your ejaculator reflexes are like a 4-cylinder engine (or a V12)
What you can do to increase time before ejaculation and finish when you want to
There’s a lot of social pressure and stigma around what male sexual performance should look like for men, but not a lot of encouragement to explore touching yourself with curiosity. Play around with:
Stroke styles
Pressure
Lubrication and friction
Intensity
Put a pause on the pressure to reach a specific sexual goal and put the focus on seeing what you really enjoy.
Impacts on rapid ejaculation can include:
Overly sensitive glands at the head of the penis
Shifts in the neurotransmitter of serotonin (which acts like a hormone)
Your genetics
Psychosocial and sociocultural
Medications and drugs (and when coming off of medications)
Thyroid disorders
Erectile difficulties
Pelvic muscle coordination
Decreased body awareness
Chronic pelvic pain
