😂So as some of y'all may know, last month I was shooting & producing my very first 20min crime drama called, "UMASHONISA"🙌🏽🔥. Words honestly fail to describe the CRAZINESS of seeing a script that you battled with for MONTHS ON END due to writer's block, come to life, the way you wanted it to be🤌🏽✨. I still can't believe these guys actually agreed to be apart of this because of how insane the premise of this story is🤣😂💔. Not only that but, the self doubt I had in the back of my mind when I was pitching my ideas to them & my lecturers for the 1st time as I thought to myself..."Maybe it's just not good enough/they probably won't get it."😥💯

😊Nonetheless, I've been blessed & fortunate enough to once again retain the responsibility of being a screenwriter & director 3yrs consecutively💪🏽💯. Not only that, but to have the honour & privilege of working with some of the most talented individuals the world has to offer🙌🏽🔥. A lot of preparation, passion, patience, hard work, sleepless nights, etc., went into this entire production. 😤I wouldn't have done it without this wonderful team, as they had my back when all hope seemed lost🫂❤️

The wait is finally over as I proudly present to you...our HIGHLY ANTICIPATED 30min crime short film, UMASHONISA (The Director's Cut). A film written + directed by yours truly, Lubanzi Nhlabati & brought to life by my wonderful team. As a collective, we hope y'all enjoy the film as MUCH as we did making it.
