Polit Affairs - The Iranian Drone program has become a headache for its opponents, and the recent unveiling of a top secret underground drone base under a mountain range inside vast expanse of this country, is another testimony, how much Tehran takes this new area seriously.

Last summer, the U.S. former Central Command General Kenneth McKenzie testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee that Iran’s advanced drones “present a new and complex threat to our forces and those of our partners and allies. For the first time since the Korean War, we are operating without complete air superiority. Until we are able to develop and field a networked capability to detect and defeat [UAVs], the advantage will remain with the attacker.”

and recently, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to pass the Stop Iranian Drones Act in an effort to stop this program from progressing. though it doesn't seem to be realistic. because Iranian drones are mostly made by indigenous parts, because they have more than 30 years of working on these unmanned flying machines. and some parts which are purchased, reach Iran from friendly countries. so such an act could just be a political move to show US allies, that Washington cares about it.

Besides Iranian proxy groups all over middle east, which are being supplied with these UAVs, recently Iran officially opened a factory in Heart of Central Asia, Tajikistan, for manufacturing one of it's Drones called Ababil-2. This was the first time that Tehran officially exports its military achievements and still to the Central Asia, which has been under Russian umbrella in security issues. so Russia is some how supporting this program too, and even maybe using it. there are signs that Russia plans to get, or has already received Iranian drones to be used in the Ukraine war.

These measure from US, show how much Iranian drone program has been developing and what grave results they could have in any possible conflict.

and the last news was also big: Iran has revealed it has a massive underground military base full of missile-firing drones in a secret bunker beneath a mountain range.

As reported by a British newspaper, With concrete tunnels and military officials using buggies to get around, it looks like a James Bond supervillain's lair.

State TV said 100 drones were being kept in the heart of the Zagros mountains, including Ababil-5, which it said were fitted with Qaem-9 missiles, an Iranian-made version of air-to-surface US Hellfire.

So The Iranian Drone program is becoming as important and lethal as their Missile program which has already shown efficiency and precision. These weapons, specially when used simultaneously, could become a game changer in any conflict. and Tehran knowing this fact, pays serious attention to improving them.
