Muskingum Valley Edges Licking County in 40th Annual All Star Game
• Muskingum Valley trailed by nine with just six minutes left in the game before completing a wild comeback. Meadowbrook's Josh Hupp hit Tri-Valley's Jalen Goins-Chandler on a deeeeep ball leading to Coshocton’s Kobe Rust hitting a 20-yard field goal with just 25 seconds left for the win. The Muskingum Valley now leads the series 21-19.
• West Muskingum’s Harley Hopkins won the Paul Culver Jr. MVP award. Hopkins had 60 yards on 12 carries, two touchowns, and made some key (sometimes punishing) tackles on defense.
• Licking County was led by Heath wide receiver Reece Huber who won the Ross Hostar MVP award. Huber hauled in 12 catches for over 200 receiving yards and caught 3 touchdown passes from Newark Catholic QB Cole Canter who threw for 312 yards.
