Beautiful Brilliant Butter Brown - Antero Reservoir in Hartsel, Colorado

Описание: I was out fishing in the rainstorm at Antero Reservoir in Hartsel, Colorado a few days ago. It’s my favorite time to fish. I rigged up and cast my line in the water. I looked at the clouds and wondered when the rain will come.
When the rain finally arrived I welcomed it with open arms. I just stood in the rain and embraced it. The lake became misty as the rain drops increased in size. I marveled at the small pieces of hail as they bounced off the red rocks that surrounded me. I was soaking wet. I felt like I was out in the rain for hours. In reality, I was just out there for fifteen minutes.
The temperature dropped and I started to feel uncomfortable!!! I started to shiver. Funny, how the discomfort made me feel so alive. I was in a trance. I was mesmerized by the rain. Then thoughts of family and friends came into my mind. I felt very grateful for the people in my life.
I was at the Eagle Claw Factory Store on I-70 earlier in the week. The whole staff is just amazing. Matthew Winholz hooked me up with a spinning reel. Yes, I put it on my casting rod. I just wanted to catch a nice fish off of the reel he gave me to show him my appreciation!!! I really don’t care, if that combination isn’t recommended. I’m just having fun!!! Roger gave me a cool cap and I was wearing it in the rain. I probably need it replaced now!!! We had a good conversation, but I never caught his last name. I’ve know Jerry for over a decade and yes, I don’t know his last name either. Ethan Foster rang me out and was pleasant as can be. Just interacting with these people set me in the right mood!!!
As the rain dissipate, the silence brought me back to the present. The thunder storm has gone away. I tied on a small silver minnow jerkbait from Rapala and cast it as far as I can. There was a little chop in the water. I tugged on to my rod twice and it hit. This beast leapt straight in the air.
It was a magnificent brown. She fought like a beast. I was getting nervous. I just concentrate on bringing her to shore. I left the whole world outside. She finally came to me. As I held her, I felt her amazing strength. I was definitely touched by the hand of God today!!! It was such and amazing experience!!!
