Welcome to week 1 of our 12-week program focused on high-intensity general strength training specifically designed for cancer patients and survivors. The goal is to help you regain strength, increase your physical function and improve your overall well-being. This program is designed to be safe and gentle, yet effective in strengthening muscles that are supporting your joints by using foundational functional movements like squats, lunges, hinging, pushing, pulling and rotation. This week you will need a bench if you have one and medium and heavy dumbbells.
