The winner of the latest Strawpoll, Ryuji Yamazaki, is here to ruin your day. If you've ever played him in other KOF games, he works about the same in KOF XIV. You're gonna be doing Serpent Slash like 95% of the time. st.D is even better since Max Mode is so powerful in this game. Pretty simple character to use, but his defensive options are lacking, and a lot of his moves have long recovery, giving him bad matchups against fast characters who can mash on their cr.Bs like Leona and Benimaru. He can definitely do some damage though in the right hands, so underestimate him at your own peril. After all, how many guys can poison you in a fighting games? Always annoying.
