Imad Wasim was the pick of the bowlers, strangling the middle overs with 2 for 16.

The chase ebbed and flowed like a tempest. After early setbacks, Devon Conway (30) and Shadab Khan (22) steadied the ship, only for both to fall in quick succession. Haider Ali (31 off 16) and Mark Chapman (43 off 26) then ignited a stunning counterattack, leaving United needing 28 off the last 12 deliveries. A massive 22-run penultimate over off Mohammad Ali’s bowling seemed to have swung the match decisively in Islamabad’s favor—6 runs needed off the final 6 balls with Chris Green and Faheem Ashraf at the crease.
