Ian McNicoll

Ian is a former Scottish GP, and has been involved in healthcare informatics for nearly 30 years, working with openEHR technologies for the last 12 years, most recently with his consultancy, freshEHR Clinical Informatics, as Co-Chair of the not-for-profit openEHR Foundation. His current focus is as a founding Director of Operon Systems, delivering cloud-hosted clinical computing services, based on open source /standards. He is a also member of the NHS Scotland SCIMP group, an Honorary Senior Research Associate at CHIME, UCL, and an active contributor to a number of Code4Health, Ripple, INTEROpen and PRSB projects.
