This film is an unsold TV pilot for an adventure series in the Pacific Northwest called "Loggers" aka "Timber!". This was directed by Abner Biberman with a teleplay by Carey Wilbur. "Loggers" was created and produced by Stanley W. Daughtery and William V. Reynolds. It starred Slim Pickens as Scratch and Bing Russell as Homer, and also Ce Ce Whitney as Sandy, Jean Inness as Mnnie, Rex Williams as Morgan and Richard Deacon as Long. The title song was performed by Bob Thompson.

Narrative: this show tells the story of timber workers and their challenges. It begins with the sound of timber falling, which is music to the hearty men who laugh at danger. Temp is questioned about being late due to a flat tire and warned not to be late again. Homer is introduced and reprimanded for a rigged bull block, which breaks, halting work. Homer and Scratch are sent to deliver a message about the broken bull block, leading to Homer's firing and a confrontation with Miss Barsto. Sandy discusses financial troubles and the need for $1,500 for a new bull block. Despite the difficulties, they are encouraged not to give up and consider buying a new bull block. They negotiate prices with Mr. Long and his twin brother, discussing loans and collateral. After gathering the money, they plan to retrieve the bull block using a crane, but it becomes a runaway. They have to evade the police. Eventually, they are caught, but Miss Barsto learns of their good intentions and releases them from jail. They are given their jobs back, and the story concludes with a return to the theme of timber and the hearty men who work with it.
