In this video, we teambuild around Hisuian Samurott for the current Regulation H format for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet VGC. While Primarina remains to be the dominant water type within the competitive meta thus far, other options have been explored still since the format is still early and Hisuian-Samurott is one of those options. Just like Greninja, the water-dark typing allows it to wall both of Gholdengo's STAB moves while also allowing it to sit in front of psychic terrain Expanding Force. With Ceaseless Edge, you're able to put pressure into Dragapult, Gholdengo while also setting hazards. Options like Sacred Sword & Aqua Cutter are boosted from Sharpness, thus allowing you to put more pressure into Archaludon & Kingambit. The rest of the core is solid with a Talonflame - Amoongus - Gholdengo engine with Garchomp & Dragonite being your main win conditions.
