This is the first solo release by American singer-songwriter Tanya Donnelly, who is best known as the frontwoman for Belly. She was also a member of The Breeders, and Throwing muses (which she formed with her step-sister Kristin Hersh). She followed up this EP with a full length album Lovesongs For Underdogs the following year in 1997.
