Former President Jacob Zuma's court application to have the State prosecutor, Advocate Billy Downer removed from his trial continues today at the Pietermaritzburg High Court. Zuma's medical report took centre stage on the first day with the NPA's Advocate Wim Trengove informing the court that the State appointed health specialists have found that after examining his doctors report, the former President is fit to hold trial. Zuma's legal team accused the state of criminal conduct as it alleged that Downer leaked the former President's medical record to the media.
