This is one of the techniques I use for tying off on bamboo.
This is what I do the way that I do it. Others may differ.
Tying off safely is incredibly important if you are going to do suspension bondage. This is something to learn properly before you ever attempt suspension.
This technique is specific to Bamboo. On other structures, rings, carabiners etc. I use other techniques. Please do not try to transplant this technique from the context in which it is shown.
The context in which techniques are used is very important, here I'm using Jute rope over bamboo. I do not recommend this technique for use with synthetic ropes as their properties are very different to the properties of the natural fibre rope used here. In essence this technique is appropriate to these materials and this purpose.
