Looking for a quiet alternative to Lava Hot Springs or Crystal Hot Springs? In this vlog, I take a trip up to Preston, Idaho to soak at my favorite hidden gem: Bear River Hot Springs (formerly Riverdale Resort).
While Lava and Crystal are incredibly popular in Northern Utah and Southern Idaho, they are often overcrowded. Bear River Hot Springs is only $15 for a day pass, features naturally heated mineral water, and offers a much more relaxing environment without the massive crowds. If you're taking a road trip up to Yellowstone or just need a weekend getaway, skip the tourist traps and stop at Bear River for a quiet soak.
