Описание: The homie Evandamme shows up to Tokyo and we hit up Shibuya for some record digging and food spots. Tower Records Shibuya has just redone their whole vinyl floor (6F) and has a pretty decent selection.
We hit up Undisputed Masters Finals at New PIer Hall in Tokyo. It's the finals for a select few of the breakers that won their local Undisputed events in their respective countries. Shout out to all the bboys and bgirls reppin.
We hit a few speakeasies. Igu & Peace in Shibuya has a cool concept but the menu hits more like a TGIF out in the states. Craft beer and vinyl bars are abundant in Shibuya so we ended up at a few of them. We hit up Usagi Ramen in Shibuya, it's owned and run by the brother of the late Japanese producer NUJABES. Some of the best ramen I've had so far in Japan. Taruya Shibuya is a very good Okinomiyaki restaurant in Shibuya, 3rd generation family runs it and it's all jazz themed. You mix and grill your own food at this place that has their own craft beer. Maribana Craft Beer Izakaya is such a cool place to hit up, it was all Japanese beer taps and the place was full. We didn't get to try the food but all the beers tasted great. They had Minoh Beer on tap which we tried in 2012 in Osaka. Our last spot for Tokyo ended up being a record bar close to our airbnb in Yoyogi. Spincoaster Music Bar has a chill atmosphere where you can scan a QR code to see what they have on vinyl. Arigato gozaimasu to all the dope people I met and met up with in Japan!
